OPERATIONAL

The window person interpreting the customer’s requirements, URS and translating them into proposal and conceptualization for new machine/equipment as well as build-from-print projects.

In-liaison and follow-up with the customer on project proposal and review, subsequent project activities and development

To collaborate and work together with the Design Team (comprising of both mechanical & electrical members) for the design concept arising from new projects proposal and confirmed projects.

To perform detail designs and drafting of detail drawings (parts drawings) on time and upon the approval of the project manager, forward the designs to the respective vendors and suppliers for quotations & fabrication.

To spearhead meetings and review with the design team and the customers on design requirements and specification.

To guide and assist the assistant design engineers & junior designers in their job scope ranging from detailed designing, the selection of materials/standard items to the checking of drawings etc.

To work and discuss with the in-house electrical engineers and/or the company’s appointed electrical vendors on the respective machine control and electrical systems and operations of the projects.

To assist the assembly members & technicians in Machine Assembly Process, Alignment, Testing & Commissioning.

SMART FACTORY TECHNOLOGIES & AI PLATFORM

To team up with cross-disciplinary teams of engineers & specialists focusing on smart factory technologies & projects.

To ideate and build robust data and digital technology driven solutions for advanced manufacturing / industrial processes.

To leverage AI and robotics-integration solutions to meet customers’ automation & real-time needs.

1. Studying drawings, specifications, and contracts to comprehend project requirements.

2. Preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings for main contractors.

3. Creating production drawings, assembly drawings, and cutting lists for metal products.

4. Liaise with Production for the fabrication process.

5. Ordering materials using the electronic purchasing system.

6. Estimating raw materials for production.

7. Ensuring products comply with HDB & BCA specifications and requirements.

8. Assisting in preparing Construction Method Statements and other technical proposals.

9. Coordinating with the architect and site engineer to resolve problems and issues.

10. Preparing fabrication drawings for Facade works.

11. Preparing drawings and 3D models for construction, coordination, and as-built purposes, and identifying clash detection within Archi & Structural.

Project Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Work within a dynamic Mechanical and Electrical assembly environment.

- Proficiently generate and enhance CAD/SOLIDWORKS designs.

- Develop comprehensive Bill of Materials lists for assemblies.

- Actively participate in technical discussions to contribute innovative ideas.

- Offer technical and engineering expertise to troubleshoot operational issues.

- Take a leadership role in managing the Production team for efficient designs and builds.
