They are seeking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The ideal candidate for this role should be a detail-oriented quantity surveyor who have the experience in building construction, skilled in tender preparation, contract management, and familiar with government regulations and procurement portals. The Job
- Prepare quantities of materials for procurement and tendering, as well as pre- and post-tender contract quantity surveys.
- Track subcontractor progress claims, variations, and manage project requirements to meet tender stipulations on time.
- Manage and evaluate progress claims for both project owners and subcontractors.
- Handle contract documentation, tender evaluation, and account finalization for main and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with site support teams to ensure subcontractor work aligns with contract specifications.
- Supervise pre-contract activities including tender briefings, pricing, and submission of tenders.
The Talent
- Diploma/degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
- Experience working on civil projects as the main contractor in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of government agencies, construction regulations, and portals like GeBIZ and Pegaxis.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a quantity surveyor or contracts executive in building construction.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, including tendering and budget management.
- Ability to liaise with project managers on budgeting, costing, and post-contract analysis.
