Overview

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to manage, enhance, and automate our Market Data platform and related infrastructure. This role combines expertise in Linux and Windows environments, scripting, observability tools, and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on creating scalable, high-performance systems for a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Administration & Maintenance:Maintain and manage the Market Data ananlystic tool, including service configuration, memory loader setup, locator files, and system processes.
  Perform logfile investigations and troubleshoot issues across Linux and Windows infrastructures.
  
• Automation & Tool Development:Drive automation efforts by developing and managing scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline environment provisioning, deployment, and configuration tasks.
  Build and maintain custom deployment tools to optimize the installation and upgrades of the Market Data platform.
  
• CI/CD & System Integration:Design and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab, and Octopus.
  Integrate deployment pipelines with source control systems, testing frameworks, and observability platforms.
  Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  
• Performance Optimization & Scalability:Collaborate with developers and system administrators to optimize low-latency, high-throughput systems.
  Implement solutions to ensure the platform’s ability to scale and handle dynamic workloads efficiently.
  
• Observability & Reliability:Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms using Grafana, ElasticSearch, fluent-bit, and OpenTelemetry to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  Ensure deployments meet reliability and security standards.
  
• Collaboration & Engineering Culture:Partner with product teams and quant engineers to understand business requirements and align tools with operational needs.
  Foster a culture of engineering excellence, standardization, and automation across the team.
  Contribute to documentation efforts and advocate for best practices.
  

Required Qualifications

• Linux/Windows Expertise:Strong background in Linux administration, including software package management, text processing, filesystem management, and shell scripting.
  Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows-based environments.
  
• DevOps & Automation:Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab, Octopus, and Maven.
  Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  
• Monitoring & Messaging Systems:Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, ElasticSearch, and OpenTelemetry.
  Experience with communication stacks like RabbitMQ, Kafka, WebSocket, and WebSphere MQ.
  
• Market Data Platforms & Distributed Systems:Familiarity with market data systems and their configuration, optimization, and administration.
  Knowledge of distributed architectures, high-throughput systems, and market data infrastructure.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying and managing OneTick or similar time-series databases.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Background in financial trading systems or market data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools (SAFe, JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka or ZeroMQ.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, dynamic team environment.
