We are representing a global hedge fund to hire Junior Quantitative Analyst for the team in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing mathematical models, analyzing market data, and assisting quantitative researchers and traders in making informed trading decisions
- Stay updated on market developments, and relevant financial research to provide insights and recommendations to the trading desk
- Effectively communicate quantitative findings and insights to the team
- Assist with production issues, post trade analysis and reconciliation
Requirements:
- Recent graduate or final year undergrads (i.e. graduating in May 2025) with Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science or related technical subject from top university with strong academic results (CGPA min. 4.0/5.0 or 3.6/4.0)
- Prior internship experience in Quantitative Research, Data Science, Software Engineer or relevant field will be preferred
- Programming proficiency with at least one programming language (Python, C++, MATLAB, R)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
