Job Description:

To manage and deliver projects involving Residents’ Committee (RC) Centres, eg. fitting-out, upgrading and cyclical maintenance works. Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Represent Client in liaising with project stakeholders
• Plan and establish the timelines for the various types of projects
• Conduct preliminary site surveys
• Manage communication and engagement of end-users (ie. RC members)
• Procure required relevant consultancy services and building/maintenance/fitting-out works
• Manage the projects to ensure successful delivery (planning, construction and post-construction)
• Ensure proper project documentation, including relevant internal approvals as required
• Process payments to appointed consultants and contractors and other project administrative tasks
• Attend to audit queries
• Review work processes and policies

Work Arrangement:

Location: Near Jalan Besar MRT

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Salary: TBA (monthly rated)

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
• Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Time-off in lieu for work done after normal working hours

Job Requirements:

• Degree in building-related or relevant disciplines; other qualifications may be considered
• Minimum 2-year experience in project management of similar projects
• Additional background in quantity surveying/contract management and mechanical & electrical engineering is preferred, but not a pre-requisite
• Good interpersonal, communication and written skill.

Job Description:

• You will be required to read technical drawings for building and infrastructure projects, create records and upload them to the system for easy retrieval.
• You will also need to sort physical files containing land related records, index and geo-tag them to map database and perform other relevant duties as and when assigned.

Job Description:

• Work closely with building industry professionals such as architects, planners, engineers, surveyors and consultants as well as developers, Agencies and industrialists.
• Be familiar with client's estates you are assigned to, able to read technical drawings for building and infrastructure projects, be comfortable to deal with people

Job Requirements:

• Have eyes for details
• Good time management to ensure that the plan consent cases are processed in a timely manner.
• Assigned to handle estate related works and other duties as and when required.
• Background in planning, architecture, civil engineering or other relevant technical disciplines.
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM, Corenet & GIS will be an advantage.

Job Scope:

a. Implementation of EASE 2.0

• For the initial implementation period, HMD(HIBSS) will deploy staff to site to guide staff and contractor, and ensure proper communication between Zonal staff, MA and residents, and works are done according to the contract specifications.
• It is important to train Zone staff and MA/contractor to follow the SOP and do things the proper way from the start.
• The temp staff will assist in conducting site audits in the 5 Zones and monitoring the OKR by staff and contractors in the management of cases.

Requirements:

• Team player
• Comfortable with field work / travelling around Singapore
• Experience with conducting site audits will be preferred

Salary: $16 per hour + transport allowance $50 per month

Working Arrangement:

Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6.00pm

Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm

Job Scope:

• a. EASE (Direct Application)

i. Conduct audits at critical stages of Managing Agent (MA)/contractor’s works

ii. Engage seniors/caregivers during works

iii. Conduct checks on MA/contractor for compliance with Method statement, SOP and use of approved materials from approved suppliers

iv. Conduct checks on completed works on site tally with the items and quantity indicated in the Completion Form and claims submitted by the MA via HDB System

• b. Sprucing Work for HDB Flats

i. Conduct audits at critical stages of Sprucing Work for HDB Flats

ii. Conduct checks on contractor for compliance with Method statement, SOP and use of approved materials from approved suppliers

iii. Conduct checks to ensure that scope of works constructed and materials used were in accordance with contractual provisions, and amendments were covered by approved Requests for Variation Orders (RVOs) and supported with proper documentation

• c. New precincts/BTO projects

i. Conduct regular site checks for illegal dumping activities at common areas (e.g. void deck, turf area, staircase, common corridor, etc), and signs of misuse of lifts during the first 3 to 6 months upon completion of new blocks. Inspection may be required after office hours during both weekdays and weekend (including public holidays), if the need arises

• d. PSI

Arrange inspections with:

i. tenants to check, arrange for repair and monitor till repair is completed

ii. flat owners to check, arrange for repair under Goodwill repair assistance Scheme and monitor till repair is completed

• e. Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor
