Quantity surveyor (QS)
- Cost estimation: Estimate costs for materials, labor, and equipment during the design phase
- Project monitoring: Monitor ongoing construction projects to ensure they stay on budget and schedule
- Tender and contract preparation: Prepare tender documents and contracts for the project
- Legal advice: Advise on legal matters, including risks and disputes
- Subcontractor monitoring: Monitor sub-contractors and stages of construction
- Budget management: Manage budgets and oversee payments
- Quality assurance: Ensure projects meet legal and quality standards
- Feasibility studies: Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs
- Completed work valuation: Value completed work and arrange for payments
You'll liaise closely with all teams to keep the job on track.
