Construction Driver Job Duties

• Transport construction materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment, using proper lifting techniques and equipment operation to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Navigate through various terrains and weather conditions to job sites, utilizing knowledge of local roads and GPS technology for efficient routing.
• Communicate with construction site managers and crew members to coordinate pickups and deliveries, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet project timelines.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, mileage, and material delivery documentation for regulatory compliance and reporting.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of job site equipment and materials, providing hands-on support to construction teams as needed.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires or addressing minor mechanical issues, to minimize downtime and ensure the continuity of operations.
• Any other general work

Requirements:

• Physically Fit
• Willing to work
• Valid Driving License
• Good driving record
