Senior Quantity Surveyor (reputable developer)
Our client is one of Singapore’s largest and reputable property developer, known for a diverse portfolio across residential, commercial and hospitality sectors. With a long history of delivering various types of properties from luxury private developments to mass-market projects, they’re on a look out for a Senior Executive, Quantity Surveyor to join their team for their private residential projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business units to identify sourcing requirements and provide timely procurement support
- Oversee the work of appointed external consultants, including M&E Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.
- Manage the preparation of pre-tender documents, tenders, and the administration of costs and contracts for development and procurement activities.
- Assess, and recommend new contractors or suppliers that align with the Business Groups' needs, following the selection and qualification process.
- Analyze and prepare cost estimates to support decision-making.
- Monitor market trends and dynamics to assess impacts on material and service availability, as well as pricing.
- Assist in reviewing and negotiating contract terms, and maintain all contract records.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience with main contractors or consultancy firms
- Must possess some experience with private residential/mixed development projects
