DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review Contract documents, forecast, and budgeting procurement.
- Cost Planning, estimation and measurement of quantities.
- Project procurement and Cost Control reporting.
- Monitoring and submission of Cash Flow and analysis.
- Evaluate and assess contractor’s progress claims, variation claims, and final accounts.
- Contract administration and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignments and submissions.
- Analyze tender submissions and make recommendations based on project life cycle cost, quality, and project requirements.
- Involvement in the sourcing, invitation, and monitoring of the timeline for evaluation of suppliers’ submissions.
- Ability to run projects within budget and schedule.
- Need to have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Provide expert advice and skills to the projects.
- Take ownership of projects handled and all related works.
- Any relevant ad-hoc duties assigned.
JOB COMPETENCY (QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE)
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the building/construction industry.
- Must be familiar with the contract.
- Knowledge of Contract Law or Construction law will be an added advantage.
- Independent, proactive, resourceful, result-oriented, and with a good eye for details.
- Able to work independently.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal relationship and leadership skills.
- Experience in Interior Fit-Out QS works will be an added advantage.
