Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on providing comprehensive training and technical application support to our clients utilizing our construction finishing robots including painting and skimming robots. Your expertise will ensure clients can maximize the benefits and efficiency of our robotic systems.
Comprehensive local and overseas training will be provided for selected candidate, culminating in a certification upon successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on training sessions for clients and operators on the effective use and maintenance of our painting robots.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients to resolve operational issues with the painting robots.
- Collaborate with the engineering and robot development teams to provide feedback gathered from training sessions and client interactions.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate robot performance and provide tailored recommendations for optimal usage in specific construction environments.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of finishing robots for various projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in robotic technology and painting processes to continuously improve training content and support services.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate potential clients about the benefits and functionalities of robotic painting solutions.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Fresh Graduate will be considered
- Experience in application engineering or technical support, preferably in robotics or automation will be an advantage
- Good basic understanding of robotic systems and their applications
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to support.
- Willingness to travel to client job sites for training and support as needed.
