1. Quantity take-off based on client requirements and drawings.
2. Prepare BOQ and tender documents.
3. Cost estimation based on quantity take-off and labour (total man hours required for each section).
4. Identify gaps between BOQ and drawings/specifications and make necessary logical suggestions.
5. Source for subcon for quotations.
6. After shortlisting subcons, meet subcons on site to ensure BOQ, PO and invoices are aligned with actual site requirements.
7. Arrange work schedule with all contractors.
8. Monitor and control costs throughout the project.
9. Participate in the pre-tendering activities with client, architect and project managers.
10. Coordination with the design team in analysing architectural and service drawings.
11. Preparing interim and final valuations, variations and claims of the construction site.
12. Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall success of the project.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations in Singapore.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and management.
- Able to travel to job sites at least once a week and when necessary.
- Responsible and takes ownership of the project.
- Fluency in English.
