Job Title: Marine Construction Project Engineer (ID8353)
Location: Bukit Batok, Singapore
Working Hour：5.5 days (Monday to Friday 8-5, Saturday 8-12) but may required to OT due to project requirement (7am-7pm)
Salary: $3700 - $4600

Job Description:
-Pre-plan and prepare construction schedule, and coordinate activities.
-Follow up and report On-site and Off-site project management and progress.
-To prepare and submit progress reports as required by consultants and clients.
-Analyse project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings..
-Perform other project related administrative duties assigned.
-Coordinate, prepare and arrange site inspection with RE & RTO.
-Arrange daily Toolbox Meeting with Site Supervisor and WSHC and briefing on site activities and daily task. Arrange Site daily activities with Site Supervisor.
-Attend monthly, weekly safety meeting and site works with Client.
-Prepare necessary submission for project. Example, RFI, MS, RA, SWP, shop drawings and supporting documents preparation.
-To prepare and keep records, summary related to project. Maintain Project documents control for ISO purpose.

Requirement:
-Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering only.
-Minimum 2 to 4 years of work experience in infrastructural or marine construction industry.
-Relevant project experiences in dredging, reclamation or near shore construction will be preferred.
-Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations.
-Working hour from 7am to 7pm from Monday to Saturday.
-May require to assist in variable projects.
-Strong organizational and communication skills.
-Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Our client is in construction industry (Grade A1 Contractor/ Class 1 General Builder) and they provide full suite of integrated construction services and solutions in both the public and private sectors.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Manage all aspects of the construction execution; from site preparations to build-out, are carried out in accordance with the project timelines and specs.
• Ensure that the construction, installation and assembly of components, equipment and systems of the construction is aligned with the construction plans and drawing designs.
• Prepare construction progress reports based on contractual terms on time, cost and quality.
• Document action items and follow-ups from project meetings
• Liaise with clients for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports, and maintain all required records at the sites.
• Drive safety and sustainability.

REQUIREMENT

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering/Structural Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in building (hotel/ commercial) project is preferred
• Must be technically inclined and possesses excellent problem-solving.
• Be able to work independently as well as acquiring good interpersonal skills to coordinate between the various disciplines and construction teams.
• Candidate can start work in short notice is preferred.
