Prepare bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, and measuring
Obtains, compiles, and evaluates quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers according to tender requirements, and follows up on timely submission of quotations
Handle contract administration
Source and negotiate for sub-contractors and supplier terms and fees in compliance with requirements and time schedule
Carry out procurement functions in an ethical manner
Assist in administration of Extension of Time claim
Prepare Letter of Award and work orders
Prepare interim progress claims, Variation Orders, and final account with clients
Certify interim progress claims and final accounts for payment to sub-contractors
Job Specifications:
Min qualification: Diploma in Quantity Surveying or construction-related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
Good contractual knowledge and administration
Meticulous and detail-oriented
Good organisation skills, and able to multi-task
Good written communication skills in English
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently, and under pressure, to meet deadlines

Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities
Prepare and compilation for tender submission including calling of quotations, pricing, compilation of PQM, post tender questionnaires
Prepare project budget and cashflow
Calling of subcontract quotations, preparation of cost comparison, reports, negotiation, recommendation to award and preparation of subcontract agreement
Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claim and monitor against cash flow projection
Evaluation of subcontractor’s claim and certification of payment.
Track and submit variation orders, liaise with consultants for assessment
Liaise and negotiate with consultants and client for finalization of accounts
Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager & management.
Requirements:
Degree/ Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying
3 years relevant experience
Able to work independently
Team player with Positive learning and Positive working attitude
Able to work under tight deadline with less supervision
