Responsibilities:
- Develop modern quantitative pricing engines using Cloud technologies, Microservices architecture, and Application Programming Interface (API) integrations.
- Collaborate with traders to gather requirements and build features, applications, and APIs using C#, Python, or C++.
- Optimize the performance of quantitative models and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environments.
- Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions.
- Work directly on the trading floor, collaborating closely with traders and quantitative modelers to develop relevant solutions.
- Coordinate with the bank's IT engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in distributed computing environments, including knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microservices, APIs, Redis, CUDA, and Linux.
- Excellent programming skills in C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience with profiling tools, source control systems, and continuous integration practices.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of financial engineering or quantitative finance would be good to have.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced front office (trading floor) environment, working under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Dependability, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
