About the Role:

• Coordinate with contractors to maintain the common areas such as cleaning, conservancy, landscaping, and horticultural work, as well as improvement and cyclical projects at public housing flats in designated Town Councils
• Conduct inspections on the ground and to follow up with the contractors on the rectification of the defects
• Follow up with issuance of works orders to contractors and to check on rectification of works and process payments
• Engage and manage with residents’ feedback and to carry out call back service when the defects are rectified
• Discuss and follow up on maintenance issues with grassroots leaders
• Assist grassroot leaders to organize grassroot activities
• Attend MP’s house visits, grassroots and upgrading meetings after office hours
• Attend to urgent cases refereed by Manager, grassroots leaders and EMSU
• Do cross audit of estate inspections, arrears visitations and special duties when assigned.

About You:

• Min Higher / Nitec with 1 -2 years relevant experience in property/estate/facilities management or building/facilities maintenance
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken
• Team player, able to work independently with minimal supervision

You will support the Operations Manager in managing effective operations and maintenance of our retail mall.

Job Description

• Provide facilities management services for shopping malls
• This includes cleaning, pest control, horticulture, security management, ACMV, M&E, building services etc through our appointed term/ sub-contractors.
• Investigate, check and analyse reported breakdowns & faults to determine their cause for the prevention of future occurrences.
• Supervise upgrading projects for the shopping mall that you are assigned to.
• In addition, you will be responsible for car park management.
• Manage and attend to all feedback and service requests in a timely manner.
• Promote good relations with our partners and tenants.
• Lead the technicians and manage vendor services to achieve the required professional standards in day-to-day operations.
• Maintain building operation manual and any records relating to the building.
• Part of Company Emergency Response Team (i.e. Site Incident Controller, First Aider, etc),
• Part of Environmental Health Safety (EHS) team for review & approval of permit to work (PTWs), risk assessment, safety checks/audits of the mall.
• Any other duties are assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent with minimum 2 year of relevant working experience, preferably in managing commercial properties or alternatively, possess at least 3 years of facilities management experience.
• Able to work within tight timelines, resourceful and systematic in resolving problems.
• Preferably possess certification for Fire Safety Manager.
• Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Service orientated mindset.
