Job Description

· Execute product transfer to new facility and validate formulation, stability testing, validation development, process qualification, methods and procedures

· Setting up procedures and operation system to facilitate operation ‘automation’ and increase productivity and quality

· Oversee contract manufacturing formulation and product process design

· Develop existing product development and review, improve to acceptable internal and external quality standards in line with global good manufacturing, laboratory and other appropriate practices

· Engage external parties in new product development plan for Beacons and be the main coordinator for these activities to take place subject to Management’s approval

· Ensure timely initiation and the shortest possible development time in bringing the product to the market

· Involve in quality issues in line with regulatory and compliance issues

· Project Manager and or Champion of agreed tasks and responsibilities under R&D

· Assisting the team upon assigned new projects

· Train and groom existing team in the R&D Dept

· To carry out any other duties assigned by your immediate superior.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Project Manager/ Project Director/ Business Unit Head.
• Jointly prepare the project start-up and execution plan with the Project Manager, as well as define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, resources, EHS, and contractual.
• Manage and plan every stage of a construction project and ensure the project is completed safely, within budget, on time while achieving the desired quality.
• Manage resource deployment and overall management of site at all stages of construction works.
• Manage the procurement of material and stock control, as well as the timely delivery of equipment, building components, and any other related logistics arrangement at all stages of construction works.
• Manage subcontractors, including monitoring of manpower, work progress, and scheduling of their works.
• Work closely with client representatives and consultants in all project matters, especially relating to contracts, construction, and EHS issues.
• Establish appropriate reporting and controlling procedures to improve project operations and delivery.
• Drive the implementation of innovative construction methodologies and practices on-site to improve productivity and achieve lean outcomes.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related.
• 5-10 years experience in project management and/ or site management works for building projects and multi-level basement construction.
• Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing, with a special interest in precast and DfMA technology;
• Good leadership skill and a team player

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Project Manager / Director on the execution of awarded projects.
2. Co-ordinate with clients and consultants on projects plan and implementation.
3. Monitor and carry out quality check on progressive completed work and make recommendation for effective project management.
4. Inspect and evaluate on work performed by subcontractors.
5. Prepare project reports and check on updated drawing completion.
6. Assist in Site Documentation Submission

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Civil Structure, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical related field
• Preferable with minimum 2-4 years of working experience in Industrial Plant such as Semiconductor / Pharmaceutical
• Possess relevant safety certificates is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and able to travel based on the project site. (Class 3 Driving License would be required)
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office and AutoCad competency
