Responsibilities

· To have overall responsibility for monitoring and organising the construction and demolition activities associated with the Project.

· To ensure that a comprehensive Construction Safety Plan and Demolition Plan is prepared and updated, which co-ordinates all Project construction and demolition activities.

· To provide the management resource, as appropriate, throughout the construction and demolition phases to ensure co-ordination of activities and achievement of agreed milestones.

· To ensure that construction and demolition issues are addressed through all phases of the project life cycle.

· To ensure that all activities within this responsibility are undertaken on time to allow the smooth progression throughout the Project from Initiation to Handover.

· To ensure that the project delivers all statutory and regulatory requirements in the construction arena and complies with all relevant company’s standards.

· To influence the design, to ensure that the new or modified plant and/or building is capable of being constructed and maintained in a safe manner.

· To liaise with the relevant project, corporate and site engineering and technical functions on all construction and demolition aspects of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to service call(s) and to also ensure M&E Systems are operational including planning, reviewing, and proposing any improvement to existing M&E Systems
• Prepare tender and/or quotation specifications, reports and performs other related administrative works.
• To carry out site supervision and inspection of the works including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the M&E consultant to ensure that the works are constructed to require quality and accuracy.
• To monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
• To provide standing supervision as and when directed by the M&E consultant.
• To maintain proper and updated daily records of all works done, including records of tests, inspections, status of works, safety, site diary,materials and equipment on site, labour, dayworks, provisional quantities etc,
• To verify reports and claims submitted by contractors.
• To inspect and take over completed works.
• Any other duties assigned by the Manager or Management.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in M&E services and/or systems such as ACMV, Electrical and P&S, and have the necessary technical know-how to manage, operate and troubleshoot.
• Higher NITEC in Building Services, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experiences in managing M&E Systems in Grade “A” Commercial and/or Mixed Development Environment and able to handle stress and fast paced environment.
• Customer centric, service orientated and able to communicate effectively with people at various levels and contributes to cordial and cooperative interaction in teamwork situations.
• Positive mind-set, willing to take on challenges, proactive and self-driven with a desire for knowledge.
