Job Description:

Compulsory Job Responsibility & Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.
• Formulation of procurement strategy, preparation of tender documentations, preparation of cost reports and cost plans, administration of tender process, evaluation of tenders and submission of tender recommendation reports.
• Review variation request order, assess the associated variation costs, monthly financial report, processing of progress payment and final account.
• To work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage.

Requirements

• Recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying with relevant working experience in the Construction industry.
• Essentially possess 1 year working experience in a cost consultancy / contracts management environment.
• Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties.
• Good working knowledge of forms/conditions of contract.
• Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement, CEMS, SMM or equivalent
• Membership with SISV, RICS or/and AIQS is preferred.
• Able to work independently and be a good team player as well.
• Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external consultants and clients.

Job Description:

· Evaluation and certification of supplier and subcontractor's claims

· Finalization and closing out of project accounts

· Estimation of quantities, evaluation and cost comparison of sub-contractors quotations

· Reply to sales enquiry

· Assist in the preparation and submission of tender and contract documents

· Preparation and submission of progress payment claims and variation orders

· Attendance of site meeting and liaise with the cost consultant

· Measure and value the work done on site

· Quantity take off and cost estimation based on technical details, drawings, and specifications

· Sourcing out of quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

· Evaluation of supplier and subcontractor's quotations for recommendation of competitive prices

· To approve sub-contractors’ claims for job done as per site status

· To establish progress claims as per site status and obtain client agreement for billing

· Prepare and follow up sales quotation

· Prepare project subcontract

· Prepare bills of quantities and other documentation

Job Requirement:

· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.

· At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in related field , at least one year of working experience in Singapore related field.

· Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.

· Possess sense of urgency.

· Good communication and presentation skill.

· Able to work independantly with minimun supervison.
