• Candidates will also be considered for Project Engineer (Planning- Civil Engineering) position based on education level and working experience.

• Assist the Engineer in managing and monitoring daily site operations.
• Responsible for site supervision and coordination of site works with other trades such as architectural or M&E works
• Coordinate & supervise civil & structural works carry out by sub-contractors that's in accordance to specifications, shop drawings, method statements and local codes & regulations.
• Site supervision of construction workers
• Ensure site safety in accordance with safe work procedure

1. Pre-Contract Stage:Feasibility Studies: Conduct cost feasibility studies for potential projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, and market conditions.
   Cost Estimates: Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering all relevant aspects of the project.
   
2. Tendering:Bill of Quantities (BoQ): Prepare detailed BoQ, breaking down the project into individual work items with associated quantities and unit rates.
   Tender Documentation: Assist in the preparation of tender documents for contractors, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the scope of work and associated costs.
   Tender Evaluation: Evaluate tender submissions, comparing contractor proposals against the BoQ and project specifications.
   

· Sourcing materials and send quotation inquiries to the partners, vendors and subcontractors, comparison of quotes, review of prices, to ensure comply to tender requirement

· Communicates and negotiates competitive rates with Partners, Suppliers and Sub-contractors;

· Responsible for tender cost estimation and the preliminary project cost for tender bids and tender summary for management review

· Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Preferably experiences in Project Planning and Coordination
• Proficient in AutoCAD will be advantageous.

• Highly adaptable and receptive to changes, with high level of independence and initiative.
• Good personality with good integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
• Preferably able to start work immediately or at short notice.

Job Responsibilities

• To assess and identify variation order (VO) work for all subcontract packages

• To provide support in terms of measurement and pricing on the Mechanical / Electrical contract's VO claim

• To process monthly progress claim and final claim

• To attend to all relevant contracts administration and documentation for the project

• To work out cost estimation or budgetary cost on Mechanical / Electrical services

• To liaise with Consultants/ Main Contractors on VO and progress claims

• To liaise with suppliers for quotations

• To maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and proper manner

Requirements:

• Possess Professional Certificate/NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in M&E construction industry not limited to shopping complexes, hotels, condominiums, office buildings, etc.

• Analytical, resourceful, independent, responsibility and able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment

• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

• Able to work independently
