To liaise and work with relevant authorities, sub-contractors or clients on shop drawings, materials and samples

Review and align Fire protection design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines (Sprinkler System, Fire Alarm System, Hose reel System, Wet/Dry riser system, Fire Hydrant System, Fire man intercom system)

Knowledge in M&E and able to Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural and client provisions

Manage and execute project as per the schedule

To attend meeting with contractors to address issues and update progress

Study and reviewing of drawings, specifications for compliance

Allocate work to supervisors and ensure jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards and SOP.

Plan and lead testing and commissioning of the fire protection systems.

Follow up with site / authority inspections, defects rectifications of the fire protection work.

Plan and prepare OMM, training, As-Builts drawings for handing over of completed fire protection systems to client.

Follow up with maintenance of fire protection systems during DLP

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Tender Preparation & Estimation: Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate cost estimates for facade construction projects.
  Study and evaluate architectural and engineering plans to identify materials, labor, and equipment needs.
  
• Contract Management:Review and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements.
  Negotiate contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve optimal value.
  
• Cost Control & Reporting:Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure alignment with initial estimates.
  Provide regular cost reports and updates to stakeholders.
  
• Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:Source and negotiate with suppliers for materials and services.
  Evaluate subcontractor bids to determine the best value options.
  
• Risk Management:Identify and mitigate potential risks in cost and contract management.
  Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or estimating, preferably in facade construction or related industries.
• Proficiency in using cost estimation software and tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and legal regulations.
• Familiarity with facade systems and materials is a plus
