Position Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations Finance (Group). Your primary role will be to guide the local finance team, ensuring the efficiency of the financial processes. You will be instrumental in financial consolidation, control, and analysis, and will play a vital role in supporting the local business expansion.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
- Take the lead in preparing monthly and annual financial consolidations for the local group.
- Guarantee the accuracy of management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Process Optimisation:
- Oversee daily operations and guide the local finance team towards achieving their objectives.
- Establish and review policies and processes to enhance efficiency and team performance.
Budgeting and Financial Analysis:
- Spearhead the annual budgeting process and conduct comprehensive financial analysis at both consolidated and entity levels.
Compliance and Coordination:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including tax submissions.
- Manage interactions with external service providers, tax agents, and coordinate on compliance matters.
Support and Strategic Projects:
- Provide assistance in property valuation, treasury management, and insurance matters.
- Handle administrative duties and participate in strategic projects, such as system implementations and M&A activities.
Key Requirements:
Technical Proficiency and Experience:
- Robust understanding of IFRS and tax regulations in the local context.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting, with 2-3 years at a managerial level.
- Experience in the real estate industry and familiarity with Netsuite by Oracle is preferred.
Leadership and Analytical Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and deliver accurate financial reports in a timely manner.
- Excellent analytical skills for financial planning and analysis.
Adaptability and Stakeholder Management:
- Capability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and perform effectively under pressure.
