We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor (M&E) to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial aspects of mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for M&E projects
- Analyze and evaluate tenders, providing recommendations to the project team
- Conduct cost planning, value engineering, and life cycle costing for M&E systems
- Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, and claims
- Perform regular cost monitoring and reporting, identifying potential cost overruns
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to optimize project costs
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
- Prepare monthly cost reports and final accounts for M&E projects
- Implement and maintain cost control systems and procedures
- Provide expert advice on M&E systems and components to the project team
