• Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring in the tendering process.
• Obtains, compiles, and evaluates quotations from the respective suppliers/vendors according to tender/contract requirements.
• Handle progress claims, variation orders & finalization of accounts.
• Attend site meetings with clients when required.
• Liaise with Consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned by QS Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Building or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Cubicost Glodon will be a plus.

Primary Duties

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works according to quality standards and procedures.
• Conduct technical investigations in response to fault calls.
• Provide summary reports on preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Comply with regulatory and organisational Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and 
• Report accidents, near misses and incidents in accordance with WSH reporting practices. 
• Ensure compliance with Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) standards
• and practices, Environmental Sustainability regulatory and organisational requirements. 
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to improve time, cost and quality management.
• Support the use of the latest smart facilities management trends or technologies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Nitec in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent;
• General competency in the use of computers; and 
• Capable in English writing and reporting

Education/Experience

• Min 1-2 years of related experience

• Prepare proposal and budget estimates for new contracts / tenders.
• Develop, review and monitor the compliance of the tender and contracts policies and guidelines, in line with the industry's best practice.
• Liaise and negotiate with clients, vendors, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants on project requirement.
• Work closely with tender team in preparation of tender submission.
• A great eyes for details in evaluating quotation, assess variation order (VO), escalation, abortive work, measure quantities / taking off and accounts finalization.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, preferably majoring in Electrical or M&E.
• Strong interpersonal skills with prior cost estimation experience in a M&E construction environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze issues and creatively identify solutions.
• High level of initiative, independent and meticulous.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.
• At least 3 years o working experience in the related field.
• Well verse in Ms Excel
