• Follow the SOP/EOP and training programme for staff
• Participate in regular audits on process to ensure the procedures are being followed and adhered with by the Workplace team
• Adhere to all safety procedures, including Crisis Management/ Business Continuity and Emergency Procedures are maintained at all times
• Ensure all works are compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards
• Ensure that service delivery teams and on-site contractors undergo a Health and Safety Induction prior to deployment

Ideal Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced working environment and versatile in meeting client changing needs and requirements
• Knowledge of HVAC, Fire Protection System, Electrical system and Building Management System (BMS). Has experience in CRAC, UPS, Chiller Plant or Critical Equipment operations is preferred
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements
• Strong PC literacy and able to manage daily activities using various systems, such as BMS, and other computerized control/monitoring system
• 5 working days per week, shift pattern required (40 hours per week)

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

Job Responsibilities:

· To liaise and conduct inspection with the Main Contractors Engineer/Supervisor.

· To assist on all structural works carried out according to approved drawings

· To monitor the progress and assist on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.

· To check and monitor the Structural and Architectural works according to the contract drawings, specifications, approved shop drawings and method of statements

· To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance to the Project specifications, construction drawings and Building Control Act and Regulations.

· To be overall in charge of the management and control of a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s) in performing their duties on site so that they can provide satisfactory supervision and to take responsibility of their work and performance.

· To oversee in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting record of works, materials, equipment at site, attending meetings, keeping minutes of meetings and discussions, assisting in the co-ordination of Contractor’s works with consultants and any external parties.

Requirements:

· RE registration with IES is mandatory

· Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

· Min 2 years of experience in site supervision of works

· Be conversant in local legislation, regulations and codes
