• Three (3) years of working experience in Data Centre Engineer Operations experience;
• Certified Data Centre Facilities Operations Manager (CDFOM) or equivalent; and ITIL v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent
• Work with Customer-appointed Supplier on site preparation tasks such as network cabling and electrical wiring, when required.
• Ensure the network cabling in the data centre and within the racks are neat and tidy.
• Work with the Customer-appointed Supplier for both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, servicing, repair and upgrading works to the infrastructure at the Customer’s premises and premises identified by the Customer.
• Plan and coordinate the maintenance activities. This includes polling the affected parties, obtaining the Customer’s approval, and sending out messages to inform the affected party.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of the data centre design layouts.
• Manage the physical security of the data centre in accordance with the guidelines provided by the Customer.
• Monitor the following physical security infrastructure to ensure they are within the operating levels defined by the Customer:
• · Security Alarm and Security Card Access System; and
• · Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide timely and effective technical support for application-related incidents and service requests.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, both independently and in collaboration with development teams.

3. Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance enhancements.

4. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations for application improvements.

6. Maintain documentation related to application configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and known issues.

7. Participate in application deployment and release management activities.

8. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in application support processes.

9. Support UAT and Interface Testing

Requirements:

Provide IT support to end users for hardware and software problems and resolve the issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project teams in implementation, installation, and configuration of PCs/Workstations OS., applications and related peripheral devices.

• Provide phone and on-site support, resolving, troubleshooting and investigating issues pertaining the PCs, applications and peripherals for systems.

• Record incidents into the incident management system, either through incident tracking software or email.

• Ensure all incidents are addressed within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Follow through all necessary escalation from L1.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technology.
