Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Support Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing Java-based applications and ensuring smooth system operations.
This role requires collaboration with development teams and stakeholders to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1/L2 support for Java-based applications
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Work closely with development team to identify and resolve software defects.
- Participate in root cause analysis for production errors and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation related to troubleshooting steps, issue resolution, and system processes.
- Assist in the deployment of application updates and patches.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and support KPIs.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases - MSSQL.
- Familiarity with web services (RESTful/SOAP) and APIs.
- Experience in troubleshooting application issues, including log analysis.
- Basic understanding of application servers (Tomcat, WebSphere, etc.).
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
