Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Service Engineer specializing in Data Center Automation (DCA) to join our team in Singapore. As part of a dynamic environment, you will play a crucial role in providing technical leadership and coordination for service activities related to medium engineering complexity. You will ensure that engineering and service disciplines within the AMC sites are efficiently executed, aligning with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with deep knowledge in the data center domain, particularly in handling 800XA control system, and who thrives under pressure, providing 24x7 support with a commitment to solving problems and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- 24x7 Service Delivery:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the data center customer installed base in Singapore.
- Ensure timely service delivery with a 2-hour SLA, resolving issues both remotely and on-site.
Site Commissioning Support:- Collaborate with project teams during installation, commissioning, and site activities, providing hands-on support to address engineering errors and commissioning challenges.
Technical Leadership & Knowledge Sharing: - Serve as the technical Service lead, offering guidance across engineering disciplines included in AMC projects.
- Foster knowledge transfer from Project Engineering teams and share best practices across different projects and disciplines.
- Develop and implement standard processes and tools.
Customer Relationship Management: - Maintain and manage relationships with key customers, identifying new sales opportunities and ensuring customer needs are met.
- Provide specialist support and advisory services for the Sales team.
Documentation & Reporting: - Prepare all necessary documents and reports for customer approval.
- Ensure timely reporting of work done and follow-up on outstanding issues.
Challenges:
- Provide 24x7 availability to meet tight schedules and budgets.
- Deliver exceptional service support to customer sites on a rotational basis.
- Navigate the complexities of data center engineering, a rapidly evolving field.
- Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in data center operations or similar domains.
- Strong background in DCS project engineering or service, particularly with 800XA system.
- Experience with Data Center Automation projects, specifically BMS/EPMS/CMS, is an added advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with data center terms, terminologies, and control systems.
- Competency in Microsoft Office tools and basic computer literacy.

- Ability to work under pressure, managing tight schedules and on-call duties.
