[What the role is]
As part of the Flight Operations section within the Flight Standards Division, you will be responsible for the operations and technical support for Flight Standards Division to ensure that aviation safety is safeguarded and well-managed. You will also support functions ensuring continued compliance with regulations and best practices, providing the foundation of safety for the sustained development of the air hub and aviation industry.
[What you will be working on]
You will mainly support Flight Operation’s tasks via safety analysis through performing data extraction, data consolidation, report generation and trend analysis; as well as support Singapore air operator audits, aircraft ramp inspections, line station inspections, flight simulation training device evaluations and other safety oversight activities. You will assist in the engagement of air operators on safety issues. You will execute the budgeting, procurement and ICT compliance of for internal safety oversight applications used by Flight Standards Division, as well as manage various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running and operation of the applications. You will provide support in Flight Operations’ safety oversight surveillance programme to verify continued compliance with regulations and best practices.
[What we are looking for]
• Degree holder or possesses professional qualifications (e.g., CPL holder)
• Possesses a sound understanding of flight operation in airlines, with knowledge of human factors related to operational performance and limitations
• Organised and good at multi-tasking
• Analytical, meticulous, and detail-oriented
• Good communication and comprehension skills, with the ability to adapt and think out-of-the-box
• Strong team player
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
