Deployment:

• Mondays to Fridays: 6.30am to 4pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break (42.5 hours work week).

Scope of Works:

The main job responsibility is supporting school Operations in overseeing facilities maintenance, logistic support to school activities and escorting of contractors working within school compound. You will be working as a member of School Operations Team under the management of School Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining general cleanliness of school compound, meeting rooms, offices, staff rooms and classrooms which includes, floor sweeping, mopping, clearing of rubbish, wiping and arranging of tables and chairs.
2. Operating and maintaining general cleanliness and serviceability of school equipment i.e. air purifiers, standing fans, Fire Extinguishers etc.
3. Support by providing & preparing all logistical arrangement for school events and activities including carrying and arranging furniture & equipment.
4. Simple administrative and office work like distributing items to various classrooms.
5. Escorting contractors working in school compound i.e. Pest Control, Building works & repair, Aircon maintenance servicing & electrical work.
6. Assist in the maintenance of school Facilities i.e. Receive faults/damage report from teachers, co-ordinate with TC for repair, monitoring repair progress and ensure safety measures are in place during maintenance.
7. Assist in the day to day operations and functions of the school as directed by School Leaders; Administrations & Operations Managers.

Contract Period:

• From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025.

Deployment:

• Mondays to Fridays: 6:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of one (1) hour lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Scope of Works:

• To provide support in general upkeep of equipment and workplace;
• To provide logistical support for school events and functions including arranging of furniture and equipment;
• To perform gate duties and traffic control to ensure safety of students moving in and out of the school premises

Requirement:

• Completed primary school education and preferably have some experience in general upkeeping of equipment/workplace, logistic or general operations support;
• Preferably be able to converse in English or Mandarin;
• Able to provide logistical support including arranging of furniture and equipment;
• Able to take instructions and duties assign by supervisor.

Deployment:

• Mon to Fri- 8.00 Am to 5.15 PM
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Scope of Works:

1. Open and lock the doors and windows of laboratories to ensure safety and security
2. Maintain general cleanliness of equipment and workspaces
3. Maintain general cleanliness of school premises
4. Assist in the preparation of apparatus, equipment and chemical reagents for Science Practical lessons
5. Clean and maintain basic science laboratory apparatus, equipment and materials

Contract Period:

• 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025

Deployment:

• Mon to Fri: 7.00 am to 4.00 pm
• Service not required on Sat, Sun and PH's

Scope of Works:

1. Opening and closing of classrooms and learning resource rooms.
2. Carry out checks of teaching and learning facilities including toilets.
3. Carry out checks and reporting of equipment/fixtures unserviceability.
4. Accompany MOE term contractors eg Pest control, Electrician, plumbers for mosquitoes breeding inspections and maintenance/repair works.
5. Feedback on quality of work performed by contract cleaners and maintenance personnel.
6. Assist in logistics support for school events and functions.

Deployment:

Working Days: Alternate Week Shifts

Morning Shift: Mon to Thurs 6.00 AM to 3.15 PM; Fri 6.00 AM to 2.45 PM

Afternoon Shift: Mon to Thurs 9.15 AM to 6.30 PM; Fri 9.45 AM to 6.30 PM.

Scope of Works :

· Maintaining the general cleanliness of equipment and the workplace.

· Providing logistical support for school events and activities, including transporting, and arranging furniture and equipment

· Simple administrative and office work

· Assisting with the cleaning and preparation of equipment, apparatus, and substances for science laboratory lessons

· When scheduled to work on morning shift, assist in traffic marshalling in the morning when students report to school.

· Any other assigned duties e.g. escorting contractors and vendors for servicing work when needed

A) Science & Laboratory Operations

1. Maintain resources and apparatus in 2 Science laboratories

2. Liaise with teachers on the coverage of syllabus for the preparation of the laboratories

3. Prepare the resources and apparatus related to Science experiments for the 2 laboratories and the 4 mobile lab carts

4. Monitor the usage of the laboratories and report the usage to the HOD/LH

5. Maintain a loaning system for desk-copies and teaching resources for 4 levels of Science classes.

6. Assist in the setting up, clearing and cleaning of demonstration apparatus.

7. Replacement of broken equipment from stock and be responsible for all equipment used in the teaching of science

8. Keep a stock book and breakage record and to indicate necessary replacements

9. Check and replenish the first aid kits in the 2 laboratories

10. Prepare an inventory of stocks annually

11. Perform any other related duties as and when assigned by the HOD (Science)

12. Assist teachers when conducting practical lessons and tests in ensuring sufficient equipment for the pupils during the practical lessons and tests.

13. Basic maintenance of Science garden

B) Office Administrative & Operations Support:

1. Support school administrative and operations matters. Eg. Office Front Desk Operations, setting-up support for school events/activities, buying of stamps and posting letters, sorting and distributing bulletins/notifications to teachers or classes, etc.

Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by Principal, Vice-Principals, Administration Manager and Operations Manager.
