Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth functioning of critical systems;
- Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution for issues related to Windows servers and networking.
Windows Server Administration:
- Manage and maintain Windows servers in production and test environments;
- Perform routine health checks, patching, updates, and system monitoring;
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices for server configurations.
Network Support:
- Provide basic-level support for network operations, such as managing VLANs, IP configurations, and basic troubleshooting of switches, routers, or firewalls;
- Collaborate with the network team to resolve connectivity issues and ensure network uptime.
Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with the IT teams and stakeholders to meet operational requirements;
- Escalate unresolved issues to higher support levels when necessary;
- Participate in knowledge transfer and documentation of procedures.
Problem Solving & Reporting:
- Analyze and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime;
- Prepare incident reports, root cause analyses, and daily/weekly status updates.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure support;
- Previous experience providing support or similar financial institutions will be a plus;
- Strong expertise in managing Windows Server environments (e.g., Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP);
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts and devices (e.g., TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls);
- Proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting server and network performance.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in a dynamic environment;
- Ability to adapt quickly to client-specific processes and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and BAU support processes;
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Cisco CCNA would be a plus.
