Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating and managing activities involving cross-border/domestic operations, including transit warehouse, international linehaul, customs clearance, and last mile delivery in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and China.
- Familiar with custom requirements, import and export procedures and documentations.
- Sourcing for rates from truck supplier as per the sale/customer's enquiry
- Handling all aspects of customer's requirements and problem solutions for their shipments
- Monitor and update shipment status, delays, or changes in delivery schedules.
- Managing cross-border trucking (CBT) billing and preparing reports for internal and external customers
- Assisting in auditing service provider bills and working with finance on payment
- Generating cross-border road freight (CBRF) reports
- Performing any other duties assigned from time to time.
We are looking for
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Freight Operations and Logistics/Transportation Business involving road transportation.
- Work experience in cross-border trucking service is a plus.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin (required for communication with Mandarin-speaking vendors/partners)
- Self-starter with excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels internally, 3PLs, freight forwarders, suppliers and/or vendors
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a sense of job ownership
- Adaptable, proactive, and possess a positive attitude and work ethics
- Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet deadlines for tasks and projects
