You are expected to collaborate with Tokyo HQ, Department Heads of IT and local IT staff at offices and subsidiaries in Asia-Oceania region. The roles include but not limited to the followings:

· Collaborate effectively with various colleagues within the IT department at Tokyo HQ, as well as with local staff in offices and subsidiaries across the Asia-Oceania region.

· Manage regional rollouts of IT initiatives, including digitalization projects (generative AI, business intelligence tool, etc.), ensuring on target delivery.

· Assist in improving IT implementations within the region, as well as attending to requests for advice from entities in the region.

· Review each local offices’ own IT projects, provide advice and support to ensure success of them.

· In response to subsidiaries' requests, provide IT knowledge and support work for solving problems.

· Effectively handle all written communications including the preparation of technical documentation such as policies, project plans, and reports in Japanese and English. Ensure comprehensive understanding and management of written instructions and project documents to address gaps and drive project success.

· Conduct IT seminars (security awareness improvement, digitalization, IT governance, etc.) and maintain training materials in Japanese and English.

Coordinate the annual regional IT Conference.

Job Requirements

· Well-versed technical skills of IT infrastructure (PC, server, LAN, internet, Microsoft365, etc.)

· Knowledge of application software and general business process (Accounting, HR, etc.)

· Advanced proficiency in Japanese and English (listening, speaking and writing) to communicate effectively through phone calls, emails and/or meetings with Tokyo HQ, Mitsubishi Corporation’s group companies and/or local and/or Japanese staff.

· Working professional proficiency in Japanese and English - Able to fully participate in online, in person interactions and work independently in Japanese.

· Cross-cultural efficacy to facilitate effective communications with Tokyo HQ and regional offices.

· More than 3 years’ experience in abovementioned requirements.

The main objective of the department is to assist the CRO and Assistant CRO in the management of MC Branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region, of its related activities and support our senior executives in our head office in Tokyo by providing geopolitical intelligence, as well as supporting our various business groups in developing new businesses and providing relevant industry insights.

In doing so, you will collaborate deeply with our colleagues in our head office in Tokyo, as well as our branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region. Therefore, you are expected to contribute by understanding the needs of our senior executives and business groups, support to collect, collate, analyse and disseminate relevant information the relevant business groups. The roles include but not limited to the followings:

• To support and coordinate for the activities of the CRO Office.
• Manage all the necessary documentations and provide administrative and logistics support for the CRO Office in the event of any internal and external business functions, as well as receiving VIPs.
• To understand fully the strategies and requirements of our senior executives and business groups in our head office in Tokyo, as well as support the activities of our branch offices and subsidiaries in Asia-Oceania region.
• Prepare geopolitical intelligence related reports to senior executives in the head office, based on the above-mentioned strategies and requirements.
• To coordinate, support and manage interactions and collaboration between branch offices and subsidiaries in Asia-Oceania region.
• Management of CRO Office assets including record keeping of confidential documents, books and other office items etc.
• Any other ad-hoc administrative tasks to be assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or equivalent.
• Relevant knowledge and experience in providing geopolitical intelligence.
• High proficiency in English language and Japanese language (JLPT Level N1 or ability to speak, read and write at business level) to communicate effectively through phone calls, emails and/or meetings with the head offices in Tokyo, as well as both local and expatriate staff in the branch offices and subsidiary companies.
• Skills to create and present materials both in Japanese and English to communicate effectively with counterparties.
• Attention to details, strong communicator, proactive interaction with the team and cross-department to enable smooth and efficient operation of daily tasks.
• More than 2 years’ experience in abovementioned requirements.
