Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide frontline customer service
- Greet and assist patients, family, and visitors in a kind and helpful manner
- Organize and plan patient appointments effectively, working with the medical team to streamline schedules
- Register new patients accurately, collect vital information, and keep patient records up to date in the electronic system
- Verify insurance information and confirm details with patients
- Answer phone calls, handle enquiries, and direct calls to the relevant personnel
- Email correspondence is a MUST.
- Process medical insurance claims, ensuring proper documentation submission and timely reimbursement
- Assist in the collection of payments from patients, explaining financial responsibilities and payment options when necessary
- Handle administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records
- Assist medical staff with the coordination of patient care
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and administrative processes
- Update medical staff of any patient arrivals, cancellations, or other significant information that may affect daily operations
- Maintain strict adherence to medical standards, ensuring that patient privacy is protected and that all paperwork is handled safely and appropriately
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare setting
- Minimum N/O level
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks
- Ability to work in a team and in a fast pace environment
- Ability to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays when needed
