• Experience not necessary as training will be provided.
• Must be open to traveling across the entire island.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Support (Ops) Engineer to join a dynamic team in Singapore. This role is part of global squads located in Brussels, Bucharest, and Singapore within the Competitive Pricing area in the Financial Markets domain.

Role and Work Environment:

As an Ops Engineer in the Financial Markets & Global Treasury, you will be an integral part of delivering key components within the Competitive Pricing area in Wholesale Banking Financial Markets. You will work alongside global squads to contribute to an in-house Front-Office real-time pricing, Sales Trader Workflow, and pricing service for various derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take primary responsibility for the stability of applications, identifying and resolving incidents related to application and system-related problems.
• Monitor, manage, study, and run the application/service, contributing to the completion of all activities in the backlog.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues from different areas of expertise, expanding knowledge relevant to the squad's mission.
• Contribute to all sprint events, utilizing functional expertise and experience.
• Provide L2 support covering both functional and technical needs during ASIA trading hours.
• Perform data improvement by configuring new and existing products, reports, and processes.
• Oversee and manage production incidents arising during trading activities, coordinating with relevant teams and stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
• Offer expertise in derivatives and risk management, troubleshoot issues, and optimize market risk reporting and modeling.
• Conduct functional testing and Change Management activities to ensure safe deliveries to the Production environment.
• Collaborate with Quants teams to optimize performance of data-synapse grid computing.
• Drive effective problem management, ensuring preventive and detective measures are identified and resolved through the backlog.
• Build, enhance, and maintain tooling and scripts to automate repetitive or error-prone tasks.

Requirements (MUST)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in Trade application Support or Technical Operational Engineering or related roles.
• FX trading application experience
