We are seeking a motivated Cloud Helpdesk Service Engineer to join our client's dynamic team and work on critial defence related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support for clients utilizing cloud services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and offer timely solutions.
- Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries and issues.
- Prioritize and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
-Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information for issue resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud technologies.
- Provide guidance and training to clients on utilizing cloud services effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for common issues and solutions.
- Contribute to the knowledge base and share insights with the team.
- Work closely with the development and operations teams to provide feedback on improving the client experience.
Requirements:
- Background working as a Service Desk Engineer within the operations environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with virtualization, containerization, networking concepts, and the overall Cloud spectrum.
- Excellent communication skills, and customer oriented.
- Must be also able to do duty standby (e.g. 2 weeks x 2 per quarter).
- Relevant AWS or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
