The IT Support Officer will ensure the integrity and stability of in-house ICT systems that support key organisational functions across the client business. This will be achieved through supporting, maintaining and optimising ICT software and hardware, desktop and printing, and local and enterprise applications and associated operating systems as required.

● Administer and configure infrastructure systemsand applications (e.g. Active Directory Services,Data Centre, video conferencing, audio system,telephony, server storage, backup, etc.), network devices (Firewall, routers, VPN, internet proxy,wireless, etc.), desktop, mobile devices and other remote devices.

● Ensure systems are backed up automatically, recovery plans and disaster recovery plans and patches are carried out successfully and monitor the systems’ resources usage closely.

● Liaise with external vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met.

● Draft and update technical documentation such as administration & user guides.

● Provide technical support to both Local and Overseas branches’ users over the LAN and WAN without compromising security.

● Source for product solutions and vendors/suppliers for required projects.

● Provide L1/L2 support and participate as a team lead or member in projects.

Job Requirements

● Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, OR/AND Certification in CCNA

● Minimum of one year of relevant experience

● Proficient in enterprise networking, including WAN, LAN, and VPN optimization implementation and support

● Skilled in administering Microsoft Server 2012 and later, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite products/services

● Familiar with internet architecture designs such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy and Firewall

● Familiar with devices like Alcatel PABX, FortiGate Devices, Cisco and Unifi Wireless AP Controller

● Strong knowledge of Cyber Risk and Cyber Security; familiarity with PDPA is highly preferred

● Experience with Veeam, VMware, and UNIX/Linux is an added advantage

● Experience in API/Web Programming and Database Administration is an added advantage

● Able to converse in English and Mandarin due to the need to liaise with overseas counterparts

General information

As a Service Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on-site.

Reporting to Service Sales Manager, you will be playing a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions.

This position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed.
• Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying and developing sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios.
• Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).
• Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Managing administrative sales processes.
• Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database.
• Translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions.

Your background

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Possess 3 to 5 years of working experience in Engineering/Service Sales.
• Hands-on experience on Electrical Medium and Low voltage system servicing will be an added advantage.
• Highly sales driven and with the ability to develop and manage customer relationship.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
