The International Growth Team (IGT) helps customers and Google realize the full potential of international growth across Google Ads. Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in advertising sales, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.
• Experience in cross-border or exporting business.
• Experience in an analytical capacity, leveraging data to generate market insights or business proposals.
• Experience in a sales or client-engagement role.
• Ability to communicate in English and French, German, or Spanish fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience developing grounded, insight-driven narratives and applying them in mobile, digital, and offline mediums into actionable business growth opportunities.
• Experience working in Europe or knowledge of European markets/regions.

Overview of the job

Do you want to lead marketing and commercial plans for one of our billion-dollar brands? The Senior Brand Manager (Japan Market) identifies business opportunities and works with the multi-functional team to build cohesive commercial plans! You are expected to lead and collaborate with different subject matter experts to deliver end-to-end plans for Japan via qualifying communication ideas, adjusting portfolio pricing and identifying shopping barriers and opportunities.

Your Team

You and other Senior Brand Managers (each handling a brand/category) will report to the Brand Director for the Fabric Enhancers Category in the Fabric Care Business Unit. You will work extensively with colleagues from Consumer Market Knowledge, Sales, Communications, Finance etc.

What Success Looks Like

• Demonstrate positive relationship building skills in initial engagements with multi-functional teams

• Deliver Scorecard Business Targets, in line with the goals of the Business Unit

• Deliver Category growth, market penetration and gaining of New Users via Products Innovation Design, particularly in Japan

• Successful Design and Deployment of Marketing Toolkits for the Brand

Responsibilities of the Role

• Identify Japanese consumers’ needs and wants for P&G’s Fabric Enhancer products, and provide inputs to Research & Development and technical team to design the right package and formula to win with local consumers

• Lead consumer researches to develop qualified brand concept, benefit and claims that addresses Japanese consumers’ unmet needs

• Communicate with Japanese local partners, stakeholders and suppliers to drive P&G business initiatives

• Lead creative agencies to develop communication ideas and execute TV copy production designed/customized for the cultural nuances of Japanese consumers

• Develop initiatives fit-for-use toolkits (including copy, prints, digital i-banners, social & eCommerce contents, sampling trial toolkits, in-store activation and demos, etc.), and deploy/guide Japan delivery team for execution

• Coordinate with R&D, Consumer Research teams to qualify the Fabric Enhancer product and package through various tests.

• Craft promotion/pricing strategy and customer/distributor trade terms with the local trade team

Qualifications

• A college degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s is fine, preferably with some business focus)

• Excellent forward-thinking, strategic and courageous leadership skills

• At least 2 years of experience working in the FMCG industry for Japan market

• Strengths with strategic and analytical thinking

• An ability to drive innovation and brand growth

• Strong ability to communicate and team capabilities

As a Customer Intelligence Analyst (CIA), your focus will be ensuring product delivery occurs in accordance with the needs and requirements of our customers (right time, right place, and right product). You are a problem solver that leads issue resolution while continuously improving processes and algorithms to enable touchless operations across our APAC supply chain network to enable strong business results!

You will support operations in various APAC Markets in the corresponding local language.

Your team

You will be working in the Singapore Customer Intelligence Centre (SCIC) in Singapore, reporting to a Cluster Manager and will be collaborating with multi-functional teams like Finance, Sales, and Product Supply teams across Asia Pacific markets!

Using analytics and business knowledge, you are the expert in the customer order pattern, providing insights and ideas to drive solutions end-to-end to bring greater value for customers and P&G. You will deliver Best-in-class critical metrics including Service, Day Sales Outstanding, Delivery on Time, and respond to customers’ requests & enquiries in a timely manner.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaboration with back-end operations team and physical distribution teams to ensure orders are processed and dropped timely & accurately
• Handling of order & cash related incidents including non-quality, rejections, returns, shortages, overdue, claims and deductions
• Analyzing of customer order data to recommend differentiated solutions/service opportunities that contributes to organization’s value creation targets
• Improve existing process/operations with a continuous improvement mindset
• Participating in credit control communication

Job Qualifications

• Strong academic qualifications with a minimum Diploma education
• JLPT N1 fluency in Japanese to converse with clients/customers in Japan Market
• Data reporting and analysis
• Operational excellence with an ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A customer-oriented mindset
• Prior experience in the FMCG industry, logistics, order management (OM) and accounts receivable (AR) with an ability to use SAP and data visualization tools (PowerBI / KNIME) will be an advantage.
