1. Job PurposeTo ensure timely updates are provided by EMD staff to patients’ relatives
   To ensure that functions and responsibilities assigned are efficiently performed to provide effective patient care
   Adhere to policies and procedures of hospital services
   

Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)

1. Provide updates on patient’s condition to patient’s relatives eg. Doctor has ordered X-ray, waiting for blood tests results, waiting for available bed for admission...
   Document details of every update in ED Web
   Remind doctor or nurse to update patient’s relatives
   Look out for patients and/or patients’ relatives who require assistance
   Assist patients and/or patients’ relatives with enquiries
   Resolve any PR problems
   Registration of patients presenting at Emergency Department
   Admitting of inpatients
   Discharge of Emergency patients
   Collecting payment for A&E facility feeds and deposit for inpatients
   Financial Counselling process for inpatients
   Handling of general enquiries (over counter & phone)
   Ensure customer service standards are up kept at all times
   Sorting of E-cards in preparation for dispatch to MRO daily
   

2. Handling of General Enquiries through EMD hotline - Apply telephone standards when handling phone enquiries

1. Minimize number of dropped calls
   Follow through enquiries till case is closed
   Track number and type of calls coming in
   
2. SOC Appointment BookingPerform accurate Appt Booking in SAP or liase with Central Appointment Line / Specialist Outpatient Clinics for appointment
   Perform faxing of appointment request and filling in of appointment request for appointments not available in SAP
   Follow through for all appointment requests required by EMD by next working day
   Tracking of appointments requested and booked in EMD
   

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)

• I. Driving of Ambulance – to be deployed in times of emergency
• II. Buddy and train newly joined PROs
• III. Ensure the Family Counselling Room is neat & tidy
• IV. Additional responsibilities as assigned by Operations Director/Manager/Executive
• V. Keep inventory of supplies and inform Administrative Assistant for replenishment
• VI. Make appointments for patients discharged from Emergency

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve category sales, gross profit, income goals and objectives of assigned categories through monitoring trends within the market segments; developing strategies to grow the market share of assigned categories; and to plan strategies to counter competition.
• Develop and implement a good inventory management process so that there is an optimum product mix that focuses on customers’ needs and the process achieves shrinkage reduction objective.
• Develop and implement promotional plans that bring excitement and incremental sales to the stores.
• Develop and implement placement and planogram strategies that improve category turnover and positively influence customer shopping behavior.
• Oversees the implementation of category strategies as well as the development of the private label or house brand products.
• Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and is well-informed of consumer, market and industry trends.
• Works in a dynamic environment were expected to regularly review market and industry trends to drive appeal of merchandise mix to target customers.
• Develop and implement a competitive pricing strategy that delivers value to our customers.
• Establish collaborative retailer / supplier relationships to maximize income/ terms / discounts to improve sales and profitability of category.
• To develop Monthly Category Analysis Report of the assigned categories.
• Manage and evaluate promotion effectiveness to achieve maximum profitability for the categories.

About You

• Candidate with more experience will be consider for Senior role
• Diploma holder/university degree in business or marketing or related discipline
• Min. 4 – 6 years stretching experience in similar position preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
• Passionate in Commercial and good knowledge of Markets.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, creative, collaborative and highly adaptable.
• Good and effective communication and negotiation skills
• Able to promote cross functional effectiveness.
• Decision making oriented & able to quickly react to changing environment.
