New medical group seeking to enlist the services of a Primary Care Physician who will be responsible in delivering the best, up-to-date medical care to all patients of the medical group.
Primary Care Responsibilities
- Manage a wide range of general practice cases, from infants to elderly patients.
- Perform developmental assessments, physical exams, and refer to secondary care as needed.
- Develop care plans and set measurable outcomes aligned with Healthier SG guidelines.
- Provide acute and emergency care, managing referrals in critical cases.
- Conduct personalized health screenings based on patient health and risk factors.
- Perform simple bedside procedures.
- Provide safe and regulated telemedicine consultations.
- Ensure all issued medical certificates are justified and appropriately documented.
- Collaborate with allied health services (e.g., physiotherapy, podiatry) for comprehensive patient care.
B. Principal Officer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Clinic Ops/Area Manager and Clinic Supervisor to ensure punctual daily operations.
- Coordinate with CMO on clinic services and medication specific to location and client needs.
- Implement MOH directives and company policies as received from the CMO.
- Advise on incidents and feedback in line with the Company’s reporting framework.
- Oversee locum doctors for punctuality, discipline, and standards.
- Regularly inform the CMO of clinic issues requiring improvement.
C. Additional Responsibilities
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the CMO for patient care and business needs.
- Work with the CMO to develop chronic disease management pathways.
Requirements:
- MBBS/MD with at least PGY 6 experience and a current SMC Practising Certificate. BCLS accreditation required; ACLSpreferred.
- Postgraduate qualifications in areas like Occupational Health, DWD, GDFM, or MMED.
- Strong bedside manners and excellent patient communication skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and humble, with a willingness to learn and collaborate effectively within a clinical team and allied health providers.
