Job Title: Centre Supervisor
As a Centre Supervisor, you will play a critical leadership role in managing the daily operations of our special needs education centre. You’ll be responsible for overseeing staff, coordinating activities, and ensuring that the centre runs smoothly. The position requires collaboration with parents, educators, and external partners to create an enriching environment for our students.
You will ensure that policies, procedures, and programs are effectively implemented and that every child receives the care and education they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage daily operations, including class schedules, staff assignments, and student attendance tracking (including SCFA scheme support).
- Handle logistics like student arrivals, pick-ups, and safety compliance.
- Ensure staff coverage across programs and maintain classroom hygiene and safety standards.
- Communicate with parents about student progress, achievements, and behavior.
- Oversee budgeting, manage expenses for events, and ensure policy compliance with the finance team.
- Address and resolve crises, conflicts, or incidents involving students, staff, or parents professionally.
- Use CRM tools (e.g., LittleLives) for communication and data management.
- Conduct enrollment interviews, educator interview and onboarding, and collaborate with marketing on outreach and social media content.
Program & Event Coordination
- Plan and manage volunteer programs, CSR activities, workshops, enrichment classes, and holiday programs.
- Coordinate and update stakeholders on event preparations.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, MSF guidelines, and Special Education standards.
- Prepare reports on activities, student progress, and compliance audits.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing a Student Care Centre, Childcare Centre, or Kindergarten.
- A Polytechnic Diploma or higher in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team of educators.
- Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with parents, staff, and external partners.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage daily operations, event planning, and staff coordination effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with stakeholders, including parents, students, educators, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for communication, reporting, and documentation tasks.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Prior experience working with individuals with special needs is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing volunteer programs, community events, and budgets is an added advantage.
- First Aid and CPR certification are preferred. Training in behavioral intervention and child protection is beneficial.
