The Customer Services Technician (CST) primary responsibility is to deliver customer service experience. The goal is to drive success that improves customer satisfaction, maximises customer retention and increases profitability.
The CST will actively participate discussions across departments, Sales & Marketing / Supply Chain / Engineering / Customer Services, maintaining responsibility of timeliness and effectiveness of the Customer Services function.
The role will be heavily customer facing, and therefore the CST will be an ambassador of Dedienne Aerospace, its brand, ethics and business vision.
- Regional coverage of customers in Asia Pacific less China and South Asia
- Provide service and customer services in-house, during field visits or dispatches with tact and courtesy
- Responsible for quality on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, reparation, modification and test tasks at customers’ sites
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine/render proper solutions
- Practise continuous improvement by keeping up-to-date knowledge of new products/services, equipment modifications/maintenance/reparation and related technical information
- Take initiative to promote organisation’s products/services while performing field visits or dispatches
- Verifying, by visual and technical inspection, incoming goods in accordance to purchase order specifications and conformance with refining practices which requires positive material identification, testing and measuring, etc.
- Tagging all incoming material required for inspection and locating
- Locating all incoming stock and non-stock material to appropriate bin locations or specified storage areas after receipt verification
- Determining methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering commodity, dimension and weight limit, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space
- Pick requested stock material via electronic pick lists or verbal, emergency requests and delivering to specified areas manually, in accordance to weight/body limitations, order picker, or forklift
- Packaging of stock and non-stock material in accordance to specified procedures in preparation of shipping
- Shipping out material or non-conformance receipts via vendor trucks, air/sea/land freight in accordance with specified procedures
- Stock taking in accordance with specified area procedures to assure accurate inventories
- Assist with general logistical arrangement, documentation and filing
- Storage and filing of all paperwork associated with operational responsibilities
- Substantial business travel, approximately 30% of time, will be expected to fulfil the Customer Services Technician role
- A Visit Report must be completed and sent to all relevant parties in a timely manner
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics/Mechanical) or equivalent
- And / Or at least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
