Within SRDD, the Strategic Planning team drives long-term planning and formulates an integrated and strategic view of programmes and enablement initiatives. We work closely with other AIC Divisions to sense-make emerging strategic issues impacting community care, translate insights and national policy into practical strategies and influence stakeholders for alignment. We also facilitate whole-of-AIC engagements with Ministry of Health for cross-cutting issues.

The Assistant Manager will conduct strategic planning initiatives to contribute towards the review, translation and communication of AIC’s strategy:

• Analyse and illuminate the impact of cross-cutting issues on ageing and community care
• Facilitate and staff discussions and workshops with AIC Divisions and other stakeholders for effective sense-making and co-creation of responses
• Develop and maintain frameworks to support prioritisation of initiatives and evaluation of study trips
• Assist with the implementation of impact measurement
• Support the development of content such as meeting materials for Chairman’s or CEO’s engagements and country scans.

Responsibilities:

• Functions as a technical leader of the Global Customer Success Services organization, addressing technical product questions, resolving technical problems, or advising customers on ways to reduce system outage.

• Possesses expert knowledge and experience of all Veritas products in their competencies and in-depth knowledge of other products and/or platforms.

• Completes certifications (as required) on Veritas products within their specialty along with certifications on operating systems, hardware and or network systems.

• Interacts with customers’ technical leadership and/or management rank, advising them in crisis situations and providing best practice recommendations.

• Provides remote and onsite technical support and communications for high severity issues and technical assistance for product upgrades.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Minimum of 6-8 years overall customer facing experience.

• Minimum of 3-5 years administering or supporting NetBackup, Infoscale or Enterprise Vault software products in an enterprise environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Provide Service Operations support to internal and external customers in accordance with the terms of the customer contract and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Ensure the correct functioning and maintenance of all internal and external systems and products serviced by Service Operations
• When required, act as the customer SPOC and coordinate the scheduling of intervention with Customer's, internal resolver groups, and the Service Desk ensuring the highest level of customer services and communications are maintained to resolve the fault and incident within the prescribed SLA.
• Carry out incident and problem management support to the highest standards and co-ordinate the resolution with the appropriate resolver groups
• Ensure shortest restoral times possible, initiating the timely escalations to specialized resolver groups inside and outside SITA, according to the customer contracts, SLAs and monitoring requirements
• To ensure the Service Operations team adheres to the highest working standards for all incidents and problems by providing guidance, support and direct management.
• Proactively detect problems related to service and infrastructure operations and delivery services, conduct diagnostics and provide service request ownership to ensure resolution of customer problems
• Support the senior team members in the management, reporting, and coordination of day-day tasks during the absence of the Lead Engineer
• Adhere to installation guidelines and industry best practices in order to deliver quality service and infrastructure operations
• Use the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the installation, intervention, and repairs in accordance with Service Operations and Delivery guidelines and instructions where provided

EXPERIENCE:
