• Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed.
• Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying and developing sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios.
• Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).
• Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Managing administrative sales processes.
• Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database.
• Translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB Service offerings and solutions.

Your background

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Possess 3 to 5 years of working experience in Engineering/Service Sales.
• Hands-on experience on Electrical Medium and Low voltage system servicing will be an added advantage.
• Highly sales driven and with the ability to develop and manage customer relationship.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.

Our client is a Science Service Provider. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Scientific Support Specialist to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute and qualify routine validated test methods on finished products, special projects, or specified testing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Record and submit all technical data into the work request management and submission system.
• Perform all tasks in strict compliance with the organization’s safety and quality standards.
• Follow work assignments provided by the Team Leader.
• Monitor, replenish, and manage laboratory samples, consumables, and reagent inventory.
• Accurately maintain and update equipment records and documentation.
• Conduct daily laboratory cleaning and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Immediately report any product testing deviations, equipment malfunctions, or other laboratory issues to the Team Leader.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma in Sciences or Engineering.
• 0-1 year of laboratory experience with the ability to perform test methods efficiently and accurately.
