As we continue region-wide development, we are looking for a Key Account Director(KAD) to forge strategic partnerships, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our valued clients.

Job Summary:

The Key Account Director (KAD) will be instrumental in driving our company's expansion in Asia. This role is primarily focused on new business development, actively seeking out and acquiring new clients (hunting for new logos) within the data centre industry. In addition to managing key client relationships, the KAD will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, boosting revenue, and exploring opportunities to expand our services. This position requires a deep understanding of the data centre industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong, lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

• Actively seek out and acquire new clients, focusing on expanding our customer base.
• Develop strategies for identifying and targeting potential new clients in the colocation industry.
• Lead and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

Client Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries swiftly and professionally.
• Continuously evaluate client satisfaction and address any issues or challenges they face.

Account Growth and Development:

• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling colocation services.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to create tailored solutions for clients.
• Develop and implement account plans to maximize revenue from new and existing clients.

Contract Management:

• Negotiate and manage contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and address any deviations or discrepancies.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical support, site managers, and finance, to meet client expectations and achieve company goals.
• Share feedback and insights to improve product and service offerings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Experience working as a salesperson in the data centre industry.
• Proven experience in new business development, with a focus on acquiring new clients.
• Skilled in managing forecasts and pipelines.
• Strong abilities in persuasion, negotiation, and time management.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines effectively.
• Superior communication skills and leadership qualities for engaging with all levels of an organization, including C-level executives.

Responsibilities:

• Offer client services to contract customers.
• Maximize service sales and customer satisfaction.
• Provide the Executive and Field Service frequent feedback to raise efficiency of Service Operations.
• Guarantee that the profit margin, service sales objective, and payment collection are achieved.
• Strengthen partnerships with both contractual and non-contractual clients.
• Guarantee service sales forecasts and work pricing are accurate.
• Pursuit quotations to yield high success rate
• Uplift and encourage department employees.
• Promote leads for service sales

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or an equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of technical experience of HVAC systems, Chiller Plants, Airside, and Building Services.
• Has a good record of Customer Support

The Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for users/customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
• Provide technical assistance and resolve 1st level problems with network and computer system through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
• Desktop support for internal staff - support iPads, printers and software.
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
• Follow-up with users/customers to ensure full resolution of issues.
• Diagnose system errors and other issues.
• Account management for Microsoft Active Directory.
• Administration of Office365 - Diagnose, troubleshoot and/ or support.
• Manage, track and asset inventory of hardware/ equipment.
• Participate in hardware and software rollouts.

The Requirements

• NITEC or Diploma qualifications in Computer/Electronics/Electrical Engineering of relevant experience.
• Professional certificate such as CompTIA A+ is a plus.
• Highly self-motivated, directed and attention to details.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a timely manner.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Candidate must be able to commit for 9-months contract.
