Job Title: Family Teacher

Working Hours: 6 Days per Week, 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Salary: $3,500 - $5,000 (based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Teacher to support the holistic development of four children aged 5 to 10 years old. The ideal candidate will provide personalized academic guidance, encourage creativity, and foster essential life skills in a nurturing home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Support:

• Conduct lessons in English and Mandarin, tailored to each child's learning level and school curriculum.
• Introduce creative learning techniques to make studying enjoyable and effective.
• Assist with homework, projects, and exam preparation in both languages.
• Foster bilingual literacy and fluency through reading, writing, and conversational practice.

Skill Development:

• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
• Cultivate good study habits, time management, and organizational skills.
• Foster social skills through teamwork and group activities.

Recreational and Creative Activities:

• Organize and lead art, music, or hands-on activities to inspire creativity.
• Include playtime to balance structured learning with recreation.

Character Building:

• Instill discipline, respect, and responsibility in daily interactions.
• Act as a positive role model and mentor for the children.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in teaching or tutoring young children, ideally within the 5-10 age range.
2. Ability to engage children with fun and effective teaching methods.
3. Patience, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Relevant qualifications in Education or Early Childhood Development (preferred).

Preschool Teacher (English-Speaking)*

$3000 - $4000 Monthly

Working Hour: Monday-Friday

8.30am - 6pm, with daily 45min lunch break

Work location: Right opposite Khatib Mrt

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, supervise and deliver the programme in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks and philosophy of School

• Prepare and implement programmes and age-appropriate teaching aids

• Keep accurate records of the children’s progress and address the children’s educational and developmental needs individually

• Complete the progress reports of the children for each semester and prepare developmental portfolio for every child

• Communicate with parents via the Communication Book at least once a week, weekly team newsletters and conferences

• Meet the parents to address any concerns

• Use positive discipline techniques at all times

• Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher (if any) in the classroom

• Render basic first aid as and when necessary

• Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations and learning environment of the classroom

• Be familiarised with all working curriculum documents, handbooks and policy manuals

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Early Childhood Education

• Fluent in English Language (spoken and written) as lessons are conducted in English
