Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive music curriculum for students of various ages and skill levels. You will foster a love for music, enhance students' musical abilities, and encourage creativity through performance and composition.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans catering to diverse learners' needs.
- Teach instrument techniques and prepare students for their examinations.
- Preparing students for performances and competitions.
- Provide individualized instruction to students based on their unique talents and interests.
- Involve in school performances, concerts, and recitals.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development.
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages students’ self-expression and creativity.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance or related field (preferable).
- Achieved Grade 8 in ABRSM/Trinity/Rockschool, or any recognized examination.
- Proficient in playing one or more musical instrument.
- Strong knowledge of music theory.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
