As a Centre Supervisor, you will lead the operations of a special needs education center. Your leadership will ensure smooth daily operations, compliance, and the creation of a nurturing environment for students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and external partners to deliver impactful programs and services.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Coordinate daily operations, including schedules, staffing, and attendance tracking (e.g., SCFA scheme support).
- Oversee student logistics, including arrivals, pick-ups, and safety compliance.
- Maintain classroom hygiene and safety standards.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and behavior.
- Manage budgeting and event expenses, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Handle crises, conflicts, or incidents involving students, staff, or parents professionally.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., LittleLives) for efficient communication and data management.
- Conduct interviews and onboarding for educators and students.
- Support outreach efforts, including marketing and social media content creation.
Program & Event Coordination
- Organize volunteer programs, workshops, enrichment classes, and holiday activities.
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders on event logistics and updates.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, MSF guidelines, and Special Education standards.
- Prepare compliance and activity reports.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years managing a Student Care Centre, Childcare Centre, or Kindergarten.
- Education: Polytechnic Diploma or higher in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related fields.
- Skills:
Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
Effective communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage operations, events, and staff coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Experience:
Working with individuals with special needs.
Managing volunteer programs, community events, and budgets.
- Certifications:
First Aid and CPR preferred.
Training in behavioral intervention and child protection is an advantage.
