We are seeking a passionate and motivated User Experience Design Intern to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Business Development team to create seamless and engaging user experiences for our clients. Responsibilities
- Conceptualization & Prototyping: Develop and prototype UI/UX solutions that enhance user experiences across various platforms.
- Design Creation: Create visually appealing collateral and graphics for our WebApp, mobile applications, and marketing materials.
- Design Guidelines: Understand and apply design guidelines and UI/UX patterns to produce professional outputs that are usable, consistent, and intuitive for users.
- Insights Gathering: Collect insights on product adoption and improvements, track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify essential metrics, and suggest further iterations based on findings.
- Data Analysis Support: Assist in data acquisition and analysis related to product claims, consumer research, and competitor benchmarking.
- User Research Activities: Conduct user research activities including usability testing, A/B testing, stakeholder interviews, and surveys. Translate research findings into actionable recommendations.
- Behavioral Analysis: Analyze quantitative data to understand customer behavior, expectations, and the performance of features.
- Mini Project Delivery: Complete a mini project focused on the user experience journey for our Learning Management System (LMS) as assigned by your internship supervisor.
Requirements
- Education: Currently enrolled in a university or polytechnic program, preferably in a design-related major such as Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design/Research, Industrial Design Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Design Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with at least two mainstream design and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, InVisionApp, Flinto).
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and statistical skills; proficiency in data analysis software or AI tools for big data analysis is preferred. A genuine interest in using data and user research to inform design decisions is essential.
- Self-Starter Attitude: A proactive individual who is results-oriented and resilient in the face of challenges or setbacks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable negotiating and interacting with senior decision-makers.
- Adaptability: Quick learner who can adapt to changes efficiently while working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong ability to analyze quantitative data to derive insights and develop effective solutions.
- Bonus Experience: Previous experience in tech startups or roles related to Product Design, UI/UX design, or Graphic Design will be considered an advantage.
