The Senior Research Engineer will drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI/ML algorithms to enhance our compliance solutions. This role focuses on bridging research and production, advancing capabilities in fraud detection, risk management, and anomaly detection while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- AI/ML Development: Design and implement advanced AI/ML models for fraud detection, risk assessment, and financial crime prevention.
- Algorithm Optimization: Innovate and optimize models for performance, scalability, and real-time applications.
- Deployment: Collaborate with engineers to deploy scalable AI models and pipelines for large-scale financial data.
- Data Engineering: Analyze financial datasets, design robust preprocessing pipelines, and ensure efficient data ingestion.
- Ethics & Compliance: Develop explainable, ethical AI solutions aligned with regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications
- Master’s/Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields.
- 6+ years in applied AI research, ML, or data science with proven deployment experience.
- Strong programming skills (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and expertise in NLP, anomaly detection, and graph-based AI.
- Experience with financial datasets and regulatory compliance AI models (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
