Purpose of the Role:
Training Needs Analysis
- Conduct training needs analysis w.r.t. regulatory & compliance requirements for new and existing PIAS Representatives
Design & Develop Training Programs
- Establish the learning needs (technical knowledge & softskills) of the new and existing PIAS Representatives.
- Revamp current regulatory training contents.
- Develop training modules on regulatory & compliance with specific learning objectives & outcomes for PIAS Representatives
- Create training contents and assessments that relate directly to the learning objectives & outcomes for tier 1 to tier 3 PIAS representatives.
- Develop training contents and assessments suitable for face-to-face, online live training and e-learning training delivery.
Training Effectiveness
- Adopt relevant post-training evaluation methodologies to evaluate the respective training modules effectively.
- Design & develop post-training follow-up & follow-through.
- Explore & create use of modern technologies to efficiently measure training effectiveness.
Scope of Competency Training & related matters
- Monthly mandatory training programs for new candidates/newly on-board representatives
- FAIR – MAS Balanced Scorecard
- Financial Advisory Process – the entire fact-finding, needs analysis, basis of recommendation.
- Market Conduct in the financial advisory process – Roadshow, Door-to-Door, Tele-prospecting, Street canvassing, Marketing Guidelines, etc
- Review & update of PIAS Training & Competency Plan
- Any other MAS regulatory requirements & PIAS internal policies
Administration of Training Programs
- Identify leaders/potential advisers & leaders who are eligible for training.
- Prepare training logistics as a trainer (pre-during-post training)
- Upon completion of training program, update administrator accordingly.
Automation & Digitalisation
- Innovate & automate learnings.
- Enabling digitalization in training & development
- Digitalisation of financial sales advisory tools
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct of PIAS Mandatory & Foundation Training Programs
- Develop new training curriculum for mid management of the sales force
- Sales Advisory & Quality Consultation
- Digitalisation & transformation of training delivery
- Digitalisation of sales advisory processes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the above functional activities
Team:
- Direct and indirect accountability for Training & Competency
- Report to Training & Competency Team Lead
Requirements:
Experience
- Preferred minimum 2 years’ experience in financial advisory competency and/or sales quality
- Preferred minimum 2 years’ experience in the financial advisory industry
- With relevant training experiences will be a plus point
Education
- Academic: Diploma/Degree
- Minimum Requirements: CMFAS M9, M9A, M5, HI, M8 & M8A (Mandatory)
- Professional Certification(s): ACTA (preferred)
